What do you use to replace dairy in your GFCF products?
unsweetened applesauce replaces butter, plain rice milk replaces regular milk, and nonhydrenated palm oil shortening for dairy free frosting.
Do your bread products have to be toasted?
They do not. But, this is really up to each individual's taste and how they prefer their bread prepared.
Do your products freeze well?
We have several customers conduct freeze tests for us. They then give us their review of how well it froze. All products have done very well.
What's the best way to freeze your products?
We recommend wrapping the item in plastic wrap and then placing it into a freezer bag. With our breads, many customers pre-slice it, place wax paper between the slices and then freeze it. They say this is a convenient way to take out only what they need.
How long before I should freeze or refrigerate an item?
If you are not going to use the product, the day you purchase it or by the next day, we recommend freezing it. Cakes and cupcakes with frosting should be placed in the refridgerator until they are needed to prevent the frosting from melting.
Are your products available in other stores?
No, they are not.
